Exciting Opportunity as Young People's Practitioner

The Via Westminster Drug Project is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Young People's Practitioner in Redbridge. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals facing drug and alcohol issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver early intervention and prevention work to support young people in achieving their best possible outcomes
  • Collaborate with key agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for young individuals and their families
  • Assess and develop care plans to address substance misuse and related issues
  • Enhance emotional resilience and self-esteem in young people
  • Support in reducing harmful behaviors and promoting healthy lifestyles

Requirements:

  • Passion and commitment to working with young people and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of substance misuse and related issues
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills
