Phlebotomy Team Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team at SYNLAB UK & Ireland. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of phlebotomy staff in outpatients, wards, and community clinics throughout South Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage phlebotomy staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient blood collection processes.
- Work closely with clinicians, hospitals, and occupational health providers to provide a complete pathology offering.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve phlebotomy services and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months previous phlebotomy experience.
- Phlebotomy qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Previous experience and confidence using IT applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Full UK driving license and use of car for work.
