Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of phlebotomy staff to ensure efficient and effective blood collection services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve phlebotomy services, including quality control and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of phlebotomy services with patient care.
- Provide training and support to phlebotomy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and report on phlebotomy performance metrics, including quality control and patient satisfaction.
- 3 GCSE 'O' levels or equivalent, including English.
- A minimum of 12 months previous phlebotomy experience.
- Phlebotomy qualification.
- Paediatric experience.
- Domiciliary experience.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Previous experience using IT applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Full UK driving license and use of car for work.
- 5 GCSE 'O' levels (Grades A-C) or equivalent, including English and Science.
- Previous hospital patient-facing work.
- Basic CPR and First Aid Knowledge and competency.
