SEND Teaching Support Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEND Teaching Support specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children and support their educational needs.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position, available until 23rd July 2025, working 30 hours per week during term time only. The schedule is 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM for those based in a primary school setting, and 8:40 AM to 3:10 PM for those working in a nursery/preschool environment.

Training and Professional Development

We are committed to fostering professional growth and offer a comprehensive range of training opportunities. This includes access to CPD through online courses with the 'National College,' as well as face-to-face workshops led by key industry experts. Regular training sessions are also provided, covering areas such as STEPs behaviour management, attachment theory, First Aid, safeguarding, Prevent Duty, and online safety.

About the School

We are a well-established educational setting providing care and education for children aged 2 to 11. We are part of a growing Multi Academy Trust in Stevenage, working alongside two other local primary schools. Our school currently supports over 498 students and has a dedicated team of 70 staff members. With a strong community focus, we are committed to meeting the diverse needs of our students and their families.
