Position Overview:

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the organization by delivering impactful financial partnership to stakeholders throughout the Halfords organization, along with the development of financial reporting that influences strategic decision-making. As a Strategic Finance Partner, you will conduct thorough analyses for stakeholders, ensuring financial oversight across various expenditure areas and facilitating informed decisions regarding the evolution of the Halfords portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with finance teams to execute strategic initiatives, enhancing business performance through effective financial guidance.
  • Generating financial analyses and insights – including weekly and monthly reports, delivering precise, timely, and meaningful information to assist in sound decision-making.
  • Assisting the Finance Leadership Team in comprehending and managing costs, providing constructive challenges when necessary, and promoting operational efficiencies.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the formulation of budgets and forecasts for upcoming activities, contributing to risk and opportunity assessments as appropriate.
  • Delivering ad hoc financial data and analyses to key stakeholders to support various initiatives.
  • Demonstrating comfort in evaluating investments and business prospects, utilizing suitable financial modeling to guide decision-making.
  • Presenting relevant information to the B2B Retail Leadership Team regarding monthly performance and strategic projects as required.

• Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.


• Eager and motivated to advance and achieve success within the organization.


• Fully qualified chartered accountant with desirable experience in property finance.


• This position requires a minimum of two days per week in the office.
