Position Summary:


We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Psychologist to provide services on a temporary contract basis, with the potential for extension based on performance and needs.

In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting clinical assessments, delivering patient care, and supporting educational initiatives for children.

Your work will primarily focus on a low secure CAMHS service, with the possibility of providing input to PICU as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Create and execute individualized treatment strategies for patients
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  • Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and their families

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in clinical research methodologies
  • Skilled in patient care practices
  • Experience with children and individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Familiarity with special education principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to function effectively within a team-oriented environment

£40.00-£50.00 per hour
