Your Role and Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this position is to design and deliver technical training programs for Briggs engineers, affiliated companies, and external clients throughout the UK.
  • Create and implement training courses for both new and existing products.
  • Conduct training sessions at various strategic locations across the UK and Ireland.
  • Develop a personalized training schedule with administrative support.
  • Update the Learning Management System (LMS) with results following training sessions.
  • Assess individual engineer skill gaps through various evaluation methods.
  • Design, construct, and maintain training materials and aids.
  • Collaborate with support administration to ensure the availability of training facilities.
  • Manage the procurement of training literature and materials.
  • Stay informed about all Hyster Yale equipment to maintain product knowledge.
  • Foster strong relationships with service managers to ensure adequate engineer support in all regions.
  • Provide weekly attendance reports to the training manager for individuals who missed training sessions.
  • Submit monthly reports detailing the training days conducted.
  • Promote and develop e-learning initiatives through the designated platforms.

Qualifications for Success:
  • Accredited mechanical or electrical trade technical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Proficient in PC applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, email, and internet.
