Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Proactive Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including CDM and H&S guidelines.
  • Manage site teams, including direct labour contractors and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, staff, and workforce to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement site-specific procedures and protocols to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in site engineering or a related field, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with GPS/laser level technology and other construction equipment.
  • Self-discipline, motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of business operations, including financial management and risk assessment.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £37,000 DOE.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 23 days plus Christmas break + statutory days, pension contribution, and private medical insurance.
