Account Consultancy Executive

Sudler London, part of WPP Health & Wellness, is a healthcare promotional communications agency that develops strategic marketing and brand building programmes for a diverse range of healthcare brands.

We take a customer-centric approach to marketing, understanding the needs and wants of customers to develop effective strategies that drive behaviour change. Our creative solutions are media-neutral and focus on delivering true effectiveness for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Shaping the long-term strategic direction of the account and ensuring current activities and budgets provide future opportunities.
  2. Contributing to brainstorms and aiding the development of the strategic and creative direction of accounts.
  3. Ensuring programme strategy reflects and takes account of new issues and changes in the external environment.
  4. Maintaining a strategic overview of accounts and proactively advising clients on new issues and external environment.
  5. Being aware of the financial status of accounts at all times and responsible for account profitability.
  6. Negotiating and establishing financial arrangements with clients.
  7. Maintaining social contact with client personnel and discussing the strategic direction of the account, staffing, and issues.
  8. Establishing and maintaining a role as consultant and adviser to clients in partnership with the Creative Director.
  9. Ensuring accurate and timely financial management procedures are implemented by the account team.
  10. Creating and developing opportunities for growing existing business within the current client pool for Sudler London and other WPP Health & Wellness companies.
People Management:
  1. Leading and motivating supervised staff to fulfill their potential and assume responsibility and accountability appropriate to their position.
  2. Taking on line management responsibilities, including conducting appraisal interviews and monitoring of appraisal objectives.
  3. Making recommendations to the Managing Director regarding staff development and account resourcing.
  4. Taking an active role in 'on the job' training of staff.
