About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK in Derbyshire. As a key member of our facilities division, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the onsite infrastructure, including buildings, lighting, heating, waste management systems, and electricity distribution.

Your primary focus will be on valuable projects to replace and improve equipment, ensuring compliance with Toyota's group energy targets and legal requirements. You will work closely with the onsite facilities maintenance team, manage external contractors, and oversee project management from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain onsite infrastructure, including buildings, lighting, heating, waste management systems, and electricity distribution.
  • Lead valuable projects to replace and improve equipment, ensuring compliance with Toyota's group energy targets and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with the onsite facilities maintenance team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage external contractors and oversee project management from conception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and legislative areas, including gas, fire, pressure vessels, and lifting equipment.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should have/be:

  • Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with AHUs, VAVs, heating, and hot water systems.
  • Evidence of new equipment installation.
  • Full right to work in the UK and hold a UK driving license.
  • Qualified within an engineering discipline (2:1 or above).
