Facilities Engineer Position

About the Role
ATA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK's team at their world-class manufacturing facility in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onsite infrastructure, including buildings, lighting, heating, waste management systems, and electricity distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the onsite facilities maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Managing external contractors to complete projects and maintain equipment.
- Project management from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with Toyota's group energy targets and legal requirements.
- Managing contracts for safety and legislative areas such as gas, fire, pressure vessels, and lifting equipment.
Requirements
- Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of AHUs, VAVs, heating, and hot water systems.
- Evidence of new equipment installation.
- Full right to work in the UK and hold a UK driving license.
- Qualified within an engineering discipline with a 2:1 or above degree.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and experience working in a similar environment. You should also be able to demonstrate your ability to work independently and as part of a team.
