Role Summary

We are currently looking for a Principal Security Consultant to join our esteemed Security and Technology Engineering team.
This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence upcoming construction initiatives in major urban centers worldwide.

Team Dynamics

The AECOM Security & Technology Engineering team operates as a specialized unit within the Building Engineering Division, offering expert Security and Technology design and support services that enhance the overall design efforts of our building engineering teams.

Our Buildings team comprises approximately 400 engineers dedicated to large-scale construction endeavors, focusing on specialized projects in various locations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential threats, evaluating their likelihood and impact to determine risk severity and appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Design Physical Security solutions, including but not limited to Vehicle Security Barriers (VSB), Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM), and secure fencing systems.
  • Develop Electronic Security designs, encompassing video surveillance, access control systems, and intrusion detection mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Security Engineering.
