About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Level CDMA / Principal Designer to join our team at HeatherDaniel International. As an Associate Director or Principal level Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a growing number of small to medium-sized projects, as well as providing expertise on major schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor Services: Ensure seamless coordination and communication within project teams, and actively participate in and contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Principal Designer & CDM team.
  • Provide Technical Support and Mentorship: Offer guidance and expertise to the wider Principal Designer team, and maintain and update knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster Strong Relationships with Clients: Ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Conduct Site Safety Inspections: Undertake site safety inspections as a Client CDM Advisor, and provide expert advice on site safety and risk management.
Requirements
  • Preferably Degree Qualified: In a design or construction management-related subject.
  • Previous Experience: In a construction-related role, such as engineer or architect.
  • Approximately 5 Years of Experience: Delivering Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor services in compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Proven Track Record: Undertaking site safety inspections as a Client CDM Advisor.
  • Ability to Work Independently: As well as part of a project team.
  • Proficient in Standard Microsoft Office Applications: And familiar with BIM.
  • Positive Attitude: With a willingness to engage in broader company activities.
  • Strong Communication Skills: With experience working in a client-focused environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: CMaPS with the APS or actively working towards this, NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
