Job Opportunity: Waking Night Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, a leading organization supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This is a permanent, part-time position based in a service in Witham, with a contract of 27 hours per week.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to access community resources, maintain their homes, and live a fulfilling life. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care, conducting regular checks throughout the night, and assisting with household duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Conduct regular checks throughout the night to ensure the safety and comfort of service users.
- Assist with personal care, household duties, and other tasks as required.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
