Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse - CAMHS

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse - CAMHS to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in Cheadle, Greater Manchester area.

This hospital offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults, providing innovative, high-quality care and treatment for patients with challenging and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical direction of the service
  • Provide clinical supervision for the ward team
  • Implement best practice
  • Participate fully with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Support service development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin
  • Experience in MDT working
  • Patient-centric with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Fine-tuned decision-making skills
  • Excellent organisational capacity and effective communication skills
  • Flexibility and a strong 'can-do' attitude
  • At least 2 years post-qualified working in CAMHS
