Key Responsibilities- Coordinate content development and support authors in writing and editing manuscripts for print and digital products.
- Ensure that content aligns with curriculum specifications and customer needs, either by intervening directly or overseeing freelance development editors.
- Manage projects to meet deadlines and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Proven track record of working in development editorial, with experience in author management and strict time schedules.
- Demonstrable editorial skills, including the ability to shape content for best pedagogical impact and communicate written briefs clearly.
- Understanding of commercial context and ability to work within budget and to deadline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with authors, freelancers, and colleagues.
