Senior Editor - Licensing Division

The Wonderful Recruitment & Development team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor to join our Licensing division as a maternity cover. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, supervising project and junior editors, and staying up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new products for global trade markets, including custom and special clients, by researching market trends and ensuring all content is legally sound and fit for publication.
  • Commission new projects and manage relationships with authors, illustrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise project and junior editors to ensure high-quality content is delivered on time.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of brand licensing and the adult book market.
  • High level of creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and commercial acumen.
  • Confident negotiator with a strong understanding of the publishing industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
