About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Safety Advocate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of patient safety and quality of care within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of safer healthcare practices at all levels of the organization.
  • Engage with patients, staff, and stakeholders to understand their perspectives and concerns regarding patient safety.
  • Advocate for patients, carers, and families to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are prioritized.
  • Participate in safety governance by sitting on relevant committees, reviewing, and commenting on meeting papers and reports.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to address safety issues, providing feedback and challenge to enable continuous improvement.
