Job Summary:
Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Orthopedic Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during the perioperative phase of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.
- Lead and manage a team of theatre practitioners to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in audits and evaluations.
- Develop and maintain skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Circle Health Group's values and behaviors at all times.
Requirements:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
- ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
- Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
- ILS.
- Orthopaedic skill.
- Mentorship qualification.
- ILM3.
- Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
- Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
