Job Summary:

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Orthopedic Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during the perioperative phase of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.
  • Lead and manage a team of theatre practitioners to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in audits and evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Circle Health Group's values and behaviors at all times.

Requirements:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
  • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
  • Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
  • ILS.
  • Orthopaedic skill.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • ILM3.
  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
