About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at the Phoenix Health Group. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to our patients, working closely with our doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, including taking a holistic approach to lifestyle advice and undertaking long-term condition health checks.
  • Assist doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team with nursing duties, ensuring awareness of statutory and local clinical protection procedures.
  • Perform venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients, following specific practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Contribute to the assessment of service needs and assist patients to identify their health needs.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and support others with their training and development needs.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge and experience of a HCA role in a primary care environment.
  • Excellent keyboard and computer skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Good standard of education, including qualification in English and Maths (GCSE grade A-C, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, determine own workload priorities, and work as part of an integrated multi-skilled team.
