Job Title: HFT Portfolio Manager

Company Overview:

  • Fionics is spearheading the establishment of a high-frequency trading enterprise focused on the Indian and Asian markets, led by a former CEO and CTO of a prominent HFT firm.
  • After dedicating the last few years to developing and validating a lucrative intraday investor-driven MFT operation, the company is poised to transition into the HFT sector.

Position Summary:

  • This role offers a unique chance to co-create a high-frequency trading division rather than merely integrating a pre-existing strategy into an established framework.
  • Contributors will have the opportunity to share in the long-term success of the newly formed business line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee high-frequency trading strategies aimed at maximizing profitability in designated markets.
  • Work closely with the executive leadership to construct and enhance the trading infrastructure of the firm.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of market dynamics in Asia, India, and CME crossover markets, executing strategies that align with the company's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred candidates will have experience as an HFT Portfolio Manager within Asian, Indian, or CME crossover markets.
  • A minimum of 5 years in high-frequency trading is required, ideally with a background in developing trading platforms or strategies.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset focused on long-term strategic planning is essential.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role.
