About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our Asset Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading small teams undertaking programmes of structural inspection and condition reporting of assets, liaising with our internal innovation team to identify opportunities to trial and test innovative techniques and technologies, and providing technical support into the production of work packages at optioneering, outline and detailed design phases of projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Civil and Structural Engineering, with a BEng, MEng or similar qualification, and Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with ICE, IStructE or similar. You will also need to have experience of inspections of civil / structural assets, working knowledge of BS/EN standards, and experience of utilising a relevant data acquisition / analysis software package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading small teams undertaking programmes of structural inspection and condition reporting of assets
  • Liaising with our internal innovation team to identify opportunities to trial and test innovative techniques and technologies
  • Providing technical support into the production of work packages at optioneering, outline and detailed design phases of projects
  • Acting as Technical Lead to provide guidance, support and assurance across a range of teams and projects
  • Liaison with our clients to develop technical approaches and associated documentation for internal and external use
