Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Structural Design Engineer to join our successful team in our UK offices. This role will provide the opportunity to work on a wide portfolio of major projects across the UK, collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and detail civil engineering structures using Eurocodes and national best practice guidance.
  • Use computer software for the analysis of structures and produce design deliverables.
  • Supervise engineers and BIM/CAD technicians to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' experience in civil engineering design in the rail/highways sectors.
  • Experience of design and detailing in steel and concrete.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in geotechnical design to Eurocodes.
  • Experience in finite element software for the analysis of structures.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

  • BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering.
  • Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer status.
