Butler Ross is looking for a Supply Chain Procurement Lead to enhance their operational capabilities.

This pivotal role involves ensuring the consistent availability of both direct and indirect resources and services across various departments, ultimately promoting operational excellence.

To qualify for this position, candidates should have a solid background in sourcing or procurement, particularly within the medical or pharmaceutical production field, along with a comprehensive understanding of the sector's specific challenges and demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement operations, encouraging innovation and ongoing enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate orders for both direct and indirect resources, working closely with cross-departmental teams.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to illustrate the control and efficiency of procurement activities.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and enhancing their performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to create annual budgets and monthly financial projections.
  • Continuously refine processes and protocols to guarantee effective and compliant procurement operations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in procurement within the medical or pharmaceutical production sector (essential).
  • Strong skills in team management and collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement methodologies and supply chain best practices in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and MRP methodologies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and a problem-solving approach.
