Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team at Anthony James Consulting. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure IT infrastructure at client sites
  • Communicate with clients regarding newly installed items, including updates and upgrades
  • Decommission redundant equipment, including servers in data center environments
  • Dispose of client items in a safe and responsible manner
  • Manage cables and perform fault finding and simple fixes
  • Build PCs and laptops, including hardware and software installation
  • Meet and exceed company sales targets
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration to achieve company objectives
  • Liaise with stakeholders to support company continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Strong IT knowledge, with intermediate-level MS Excel skills
  • Level 2 desktop support experience and proven networking skills
  • Experience upgrading Wi-Fi networks
  • Experience as a point of escalation
  • Networking experience, preferably CompTIA Network + or CCNA qualification
  • Good knowledge of computers and their components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK and hold a full UK driving license
  • Polite and courteous manner representing the company
