PCB Design Engineer – Flexible Work Arrangement

Eligibility Requirement: British Nationality Only

Synergize Consulting is seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess either a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, and must be either security cleared or willing to undergo the security clearance process.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively within a compact team located across multiple sites, engaging in the comprehensive lifecycle of PCB design. This role emphasizes contribution throughout all design phases, ensuring high-quality outputs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • HND or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in designing complex, multi-layer PCBs
  • Experience with controlled impedance, high-speed digital, RF, mixed signal, high current, and large FPGA technologies
  • Familiarity with blind, buried, and filled via techniques
  • Proficient in the Cadence design tool suite
  • Ability to integrate complex mechanical profiles for various requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize engineering expertise to create PCB designs
  • Interpret and manage schematic diagrams
  • Collaborate effectively with mechanical and electronic design teams
  • Generate comprehensive manufacturing data packs
  • Participate in Design and Peer Reviews
  • Manage component libraries
  • Modify and maintain existing designs
