Elevation Recruitment Group's Senior Finance division is seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join a successful manufacturing business in Livingstone. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified accountant to join an established finance team.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain the Cost Accounting function, providing timely and efficient services to the management team and overall business.
  • Ensure the company adheres to sound accounting principles, identifying potential problem areas and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide accurate costing information to support pricing decisions and optimize product profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Financial Controller to improve efficiency and productivity, ensuring schedules and customer needs are met.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and provide guidance on inventory processes and internal controls.
  • Prepare and analyze Variable Cost information for Operations and Senior Management.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and journal vouchers.

Requirements:
