Job Title: QSW - PERM Senior Social Work Safeguarding Adults

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Work Practitioner to join our team in West Sussex County. As a Senior Social Work Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults in need of safeguarding and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to safeguarding referrals and initiate enquiries to ensure the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk.
  • Develop and implement effective plans of support to improve wellbeing and deliver better outcomes for adults.
  • Manage a complex and challenging caseload, providing guidance and support to other social care practitioners.
  • Contribute to the development of best practice and professional standards in social work and safeguarding.
  • Advise and facilitate access to specialist advice to further develop capability and professional confidence.

Requirements:

  • Post-qualifying experience in social work and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with staff and other agencies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and organisational procedures.
  • Ability to travel throughout the county, including to locations that are not always easily accessible by public transport.
