As a Senior Social Work Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing a complex and challenging caseload, developing and implementing effective plans of support, and contributing to the development of skills in safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapid Risk Assessment and Crisis Intervention: Utilize your skills to rapidly risk assess situations and engage with people who may be in crisis, developing and implementing effective plans of support to improve wellbeing and deliver better outcomes.
- Caseload Management and Support: Manage and support others to manage a varied, complex, and challenging caseload, improving the practice of unregistered and registered social care practitioners.
- Professional Development and Supervision: Develop, lead, and champion best practice and professional standards, advising others and facilitating access to specialist advice to further develop capability and professional confidence.
Requirements:
- Experience in social work, preferably in adult safeguarding
- Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to manage and support others in a complex caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
