We are seeking an experienced Chargehand to join our team at the Sellafield Nuclear Facility.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with experience in the nuclear, defence, or oil & gas industries. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain safety standards under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage site labour effectively.
- Oversee work in progress, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Document site deliveries and manage necessary drawings.
- Obtain and allocate work permits as required.
- Ensure all actions comply with the integrated management system and health & safety protocols.
In return, you'll receive a long-term contract with competitive pay rates, including:
- Day rates - £22.16/hr PAYE
- Backshift - £26.13/hr PAYE
- Night rates - £28.03/hr PAYE
Patterns include Monday – Friday days, Monday – Thursday Backshift or Nightshift, with weekend work available.
