About the Opportunity:

As a key member of the Jacobs team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing projects and tasks associated with the Jacobs Field Solutions Portfolio on the Sellafield Site in Cumbria. Reporting directly to the Framework Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing supervisors and operatives, executing mechanical tasks in line with client requirements, and ensuring compliance with nuclear professionalism standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to develop and define project scope via constructability reviews;
  • Lead by example, demonstrating the standards set by the business, and challenge unacceptable behaviors;
  • Support the preparation of estimates and budgets;
  • Plan work activities and resources to meet task requirements safely and effectively;
  • Pass a medical to prove fitness to work in a radiological environment;
  • Hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification and Security Clearance or be able to obtain;
  • Strong knowledge of Sellafield working procedures and processes, with experience in working within the Active Area;
  • NEC3 delivery experience and understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015.

What You'll Need:
  • Verify existing electrical asset conditions on site;
  • Navigate and review information against existing P&IDs and Single Line Diagrams and test data;
  • Learn and interpret technical drawings and transfer checked and verified information to client's spreadsheets and documentation;
  • Work co-operatively with others in the team to complete tasks and implement processes in line with client KPIs and end-to-end processes;
  • Log in client's various portal systems and upload, download documentation, and update client's progress trackers as required;
  • Collate and update statistical tracker information for Internal Operational Progress Reports and Client reports and progress meetings;
  • Attend site to review inspection teams' data input, offer assistance/solutions to technical queries;
  • Participate in developing the growth of the team and wider Jacobs's growth strategies.
