We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Support the development of individual interests and skills, encouraging young people to reach their full potential.
- Participate in activities and provide a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring young people feel valued and respected.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a comprehensive care package, addressing the unique needs of each young person.
- Undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the role.
- Experience of supporting vulnerable young people, although not essential, is desirable.
- Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, with good interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
- Desire to engage, motivate, and encourage young people in our care.
- Full training provided to gain a recognized qualification, supporting your professional development.
- Supervisions with your line manager, ensuring you receive regular feedback and support.
- Holiday accrual, recognizing your hard work and dedication.
