About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Valuations Manager/Assistant Manager to join our Valuation Team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading engagements and providing expert advice on financial reporting purposes, including intangible assets and purchase price allocations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on engagements and provide expert advice on financial reporting purposes, including intangible assets and purchase price allocations.
  • Support in further development of opportunities and maintain the firm's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in valuations.

Requirements

  • Solid grounding in valuations gained from another professional services firm.
  • Proficiency in a number of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, intangible asset valuation techniques.
  • Adept ability to interpret financial statements in the context of valuations.
  • Strong business writing, analytical and Excel modelling skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent academic background, including a professional qualification in accountancy or other related financial discipline.
