About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the supply of medicines throughout the hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the receipt, storage, and dispensing of medications
- Support the pharmacy team with stock control and inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
- Participate in weekend, bank holiday, and late night rotas as required
Requirements
- Minimum 4 GCSEs including Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4 or above)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or stock control environment
- Basic keyboard skills and IT literacy
