About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Connect Group. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans for our key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute marketing plans that align with brand objectives and drive sales.
  • Competitor Insights: Identify growth opportunities and stay up-to-date with competitor insights.
  • Trade Marketing: Develop, execute, and report on trade marketing plans to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Brand Management: Assist in developing briefs for advertising, media, point of sale, and packaging design agencies.
  • Marketing Execution: Implement marketing plans through various channels and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Customer Support: Create and maintain presentations for customers and support sales teams through brand updates and marketing expertise.
  • Forecasting: Take responsibility for sales and profit forecasts.
About You
  • Marketing Experience: Relevant and recent marketing experience in consumer packaged goods, preferably with knowledge of grocery or pharmacy trade sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with Health & Beauty, OTC, or Licensed medicines, and working knowledge/experience of highly regulated markets.
  • Qualifications: Recognised Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM) is essential, and a Marketing degree is preferred.
  • Education: Good standard of general education including Maths and English.
