Job Title: Academic Delivery Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Delivery Officer to join our team at Manchester United Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering educational, aspirational, leadership, and personal development programs in a partner high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all service level agreement objectives are met through strategic planning and excellence in delivery.
- Build development plans that will increasingly challenge, enhance skills, shape a positive attitude in young people.
- Develop and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the partnership including with local community groups and organisations.
- Help create, develop and support a steering group network of key stakeholders to effectively manage the extended schools program.
- Work with the High School Co-ordinator and recognised school representatives to manage, monitor evaluate and innovate the service level agreement objectives to ensure they remain relevant, unique and aligned to the strategic vision of the Foundation and the partner school.
- As directed by the High School management team, maintain registers, collect all relevant data, information and evidence of good practice to support funding conditions and for the formulation of case studies.
- Complete risk assessments to always ensure a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with Manchester United Foundation and Manchester United Football Club's policies.
- As directed by the High School management team, attend seminars, networking events and exhibitions relevant to the role, proactively using the information and learning to influence current and future partner school programmes and activities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates academic achievement and strong functional skills in Mathematics, English, and IT.
- Holds a full and clean UK driving license and a Level 2 sports coaching qualification.
- Has experience working with children and young people, preferably in a charitable, high school, or sporting environment.
- Has experience developing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating physical, leadership, and mentor support programs.
- Is empathetic, passionate about working with young people, and able to build strong relationships.
- Recognised Leadership or Youth Work qualification.
- Proven track record of improving young people's physical development and educational performance.
- Evidence of positive outcomes for young people's mental health and wellbeing.
