Manchester United is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Delivery Officer to join our team. As a key member of our High School Partnership team, you will be responsible for delivering educational, aspirational, leadership, and personal development programs in partner high schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure all service level agreement objectives are met through excellence in delivery.
- Build development plans that challenge, enhance skills, and shape a positive attitude in young people.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including local community groups and organisations.
- Support the creation and development of a steering group network to effectively manage the extended schools program.
- Work with the High School Co-ordinator and recognised school representatives to monitor, evaluate, and innovate service level agreement objectives.
- Collect and maintain relevant data, information, and evidence to support funding conditions and case studies.
- Complete risk assessments to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Attend seminars, networking events, and exhibitions to influence current and future partner school programmes.
- Demonstrated academic achievement and strong functional skills in Mathematics, English, and IT.
- Holds a full and clean UK driving license and a Level 2 sports coaching qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a charitable, high school, or sporting environment.
- Experience developing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating physical, leadership, and mentor support programs.
- Empathetic, passionate about working with young people, and able to build strong relationships.
- Recognised Leadership or Youth Work qualification.
- Proven track record of improving young people's physical development and educational performance.
- Evidence of positive outcomes for young people's mental health and wellbeing.
