About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our Technical Operations team at Pepperjam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the internal IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and providing technical support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Operations team to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.
  • Manage and maintain IT budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to improve IT services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in IT management, with a focus on infrastructure and support.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of servers, networks, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and industry standards.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Bash.
  • Basic CLI troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of MDM systems, such as Intune or JAMF.
  • Understanding of development practices and cloud infrastructure services.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in a helpdesk or service desk support role.
  • Background and interests in development or technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with network appliances and end-user devices.
  • Knowledge of asset management and stock control.
  • Awareness of end-user and device security policies and frameworks.
