About the Role

We are seeking an Information Hub Assistant to be the friendly face of our campus, providing essential information and directing students, staff, and visitors to the right resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontline Service: Greet students, staff, and guests at the Campus Information Hub desk, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
  • Maintain a Professional Environment: Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and professionally presented.
  • Security Protocols: Implement security measures, including issuing and monitoring ID cards for students, staff, and visitors, and maintaining a record of all visitors on campus.
  • Respond to Enquiries: Provide excellent first-line responses to student enquiries in person, by phone, or by email, triaging efficiently and directing them to appropriate resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all on-campus departments to ensure the Information Hub serves as a comprehensive resource for students, with up-to-date information.
  • Administrative Support: Assist college teams with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • A good level of general education, including English and Maths.
  • Previous experience in a customer service and/or administrative role.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a cooperative team player.
  • A positive attitude with a proactive approach to supporting students, with a friendly and empathetic demeanour.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
