Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Winterton Medical Practice. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors to the practice, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Process patient registration and demographic data accurately and efficiently
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as scanning, photocopying, and filing
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Provide support for home visit requests and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
- Experience working in a reception/admin environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
