As a Distribution Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key distribution partners. Your responsibilities will encompass managing inventory levels, driving sales initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with leading distributors, including TD Synnex, Ingram Micro, D&H, ASIADI, and Longtech.
  • Oversee inventory management within the distribution channel, ensuring optimal stock levels, promoting new products, securing stock for large orders, and proactively addressing aging inventory.
  • Spearhead marketing and sales activities with major distributors, such as trade shows, product training sessions, webinars, floor walks, and sales contests.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to implement effective go-to-market strategies within the distribution channel, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Maintain open communication channels with distributor PMs, sales, and marketing teams at all levels, providing updates on TPLink strategies, sales campaigns, objectives, marketing materials, operational issues, and more.
  • Work effectively with internal and external cross-functional departments to address distribution-related issues, optimize workflows, and establish policies to prevent future operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in distribution, preferably within a technology sector.
  • Proven track record in category management within the distribution industry.
  • Technical background in networking is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven sales history.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to specific audiences.
  • Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Effective problem tracking and resolution capabilities.
