This service aims to prevent and reduce the need for hospital admission, facilitating earlier discharge and supported step-down from hospital for ongoing treatment where safe to do so.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an administrator to provide administrative support to the clinical team based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. This role will play a critical part in maintaining a single point of access and referral process to the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an electronic referral system and database
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team
  • Maintain a single point of access and referral process to the service
  • Develop and maintain databases
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including some public holidays
Requirements:

Education to SVQ III or HNC in an administrative, secretarial, or business context, or equivalent NHS experience. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, and developing and maintaining databases.
