Audit Director

We are seeking a seasoned Audit Director to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our audit function and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic oversight of the firm's audit provision, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
- Oversee a team of experienced audit staff, including managing workflow, reviewing work with constructive feedback, and plugging knowledge gaps with training opportunities.
- Support the firm's growth by securing new business, recruiting, and training new staff and being involved with all strategic decision making.
- Lead target setting, as well as forecasting and reporting on department budgeting.
- Professionally represent the firm during networking opportunities, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
- Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
- Champion the firm's values within the team, motivating those around you.
- Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
