Commercial Banking Manager

As a Commercial Analysis Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the future growth of the bank, forming strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and contributing to the success of our Regional Commercial Team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial lending customers, working closely with the Business Development teams and Lending Directors to convert leads and grow the bank's customer base.
- Build and maintain influential business relationships with key market professionals, clients, and customers, representing Metro Bank as an external face to the commercial market.
- Manage risk, including Credit, Operational, and Regulatory, to ensure the bank's assets are protected and our customers' needs are met.
- Partner with internal colleagues and stakeholders to deliver required propositions and pricing requirements, risk policies, and reporting within established appetites.
- Support the Commercial Analysts in their lending fulfillment activities, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
- A proven track record of commercial lending within commercial/corporate banking environments, ideally with experience as a Commercial Banking Manager or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of financial analysis, credit writing, and report writing for customers with complex needs.
- Experience in building, maintaining, and growing valuable commercial banking relationships and converting leads.
- A good working knowledge of risk management, Financial Crime, AML, KYC requirements, and TCF/conduct expectations.
