Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Technician to join our team at IMT Resourcing Solutions. As a Senior IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, providing technical support to staff and students, and implementing new technologies to improve our business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively, and ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to our business operations.
  • Software and Hardware Management: Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Data Security and Integrity: Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and adherence to security protocols, protecting our company's sensitive information and assets.
  • IT Project Planning and Implementation: Assist in the planning and implementation of new IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with our company's business objectives and goals.
  • Training and Support: Train and support staff and students in the use of IT systems and software, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external suppliers and service providers as necessary, ensuring timely and effective delivery of IT services and support.
  • IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions, ensuring transparency and accountability in our IT operations.

Requirements:

  • IT Experience: Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within an educational environment or a similar industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, network administration, and hardware maintenance, as well as relevant IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
