Care Home Manager Opportunity

Location: Newtown, Powys

Salary: Up to £45,460

Hours: 37.5

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our team at a friendly 40-bedded care home in Newtown. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the home.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Use your leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage the use of resources, including financial performance, to maintain high levels of occupancy and ensure the long-term sustainability of the home.
  • Service User Focus: Provide improvement, independence, and choice for our residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times, maintaining the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) (or be working towards this).
  • Registration: Registration with CIW and awareness of Welsh legislation.
  • Experience: Previous experience of managing or working as a deputy in a care home for older people.
  • Personal Qualities: A caring and compassionate nature.
