CareTech Group is seeking dedicated Residential Care Workers to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people with behavioral and emotional needs.

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Supporting Educational Engagement: Assist children with their studies, encourage their academic progress, and foster a love of learning.
  • Promoting Healthy Lifestyle Choices: Guide young people in making healthy choices regarding nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being.
  • Providing Guidance and Support for Independent Living: Equip children with essential life skills to prepare them for independent living.
  • Ensuring Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety and security of all residents, creating a calm and supportive atmosphere.
  • Delivering High-Quality Care and Support: Build strong relationships with children, understand their individual needs, and provide compassionate care.

We are committed to providing our staff with ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a therapeutic environment is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
