We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maitre D' to join our dynamic team at Daphne's, a luxurious Italian restaurant in South Kensington. As a Maitre D', you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience at our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and Welcome Guests: Provide a warm and professional welcome to our guests, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
- Manage Reservations: Accurately and efficiently manage reservations, ensuring seamless table assignments and minimizing wait times.
- Coordinate with the Service Team: Work closely with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience, providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
- Answer Phone Calls and Inquiries: Respond to phone calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Maintain the Reception Area: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-maintained, reflecting the high standards of our restaurant.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, host, or Maitre D' in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Open Table or Seven Rooms, with a strong understanding of reservation management systems.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
