The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of London's Mayfair, offering an all-day public restaurant and a private members club. Our hotel is set within a Grade II listed Edwardian manor at number 22 Grosvenor Square, which is being redesigned into a Westside hideaway for creative cohorts, local residents, and international guests.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maitre D' to join our team. As a Maitre D', you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is exceptional and memorable. You will work closely with the Senior Maitre D' and restaurant team to ensure the smooth operation of the dining room, maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Senior Maitre D' in overseeing the guest journey from pre-arrival to post-visit
- Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming first impression
- Uphold the highest standards of service and hospitality, ensuring that all guests have an exceptional dining experience
- Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure the smooth operation of the dining room
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of the menu, wine list, and other hotel services
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about hospitality, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work well under pressure. You should have a strong attention to detail, be able to multitask, and have a positive and professional attitude.
