Parkside Recruitment is in search of a seasoned Logistics and Operations Manager to enhance European Business Operations by delivering Project Leadership within the Logistics & Technical Operations Team.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with occasional travel across Europe as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Offer technical guidance and assistance during the introduction of new products, assessment of new business ventures, and while addressing challenges in the manufacturing and logistics sectors for both new and existing offerings.
- Lead and support a variety of Logistics & Technical Projects and initiatives aimed at bolstering European Business Operations, which include:
- Assessing project scope, resource needs, budget, business justification, and timelines for initiatives.
- Forming and directing cross-functional project teams that include both internal and external experts.
- Creating and overseeing comprehensive project plans, identifying critical paths, key milestones, and external dependencies.
- Providing leadership and management to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Managing project sponsors and stakeholders by developing a clear and consistent reporting approach at all organizational levels.
- Overseeing logistics and technical work streams to facilitate the registration and commercialization of new products and market entries.
- Designing and implementing systems and methodologies to ensure an efficient, consistent, and transparent project approach.
- A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of Project Management or Leadership experience in a comparable senior position within the Pharmaceutical sector.
- A comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical development, licensing, and commercialization processes, including GxP Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Logistics/External Manufacturing & Distribution.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
